Over 45 years of experience in all phases of construction, with a focus on remodels. I have been on the Bainbridge Island for 24 years and have many satisfied clients. I have added decks, turned a garage into lovely small home, designed and built an art studio, completely remodeled kitchens and bathrooms, turned a bonus space above a garage into a one bedroom rental, designed and built many cabinets for kitchens as well as entertainment centers.

Statement:

Throughout my career as a carpenter, I have found that I spent a great deal of my time doing the work of a project manager/consultant, as well as the carpentry. I have also found that I really enjoy that aspect of my work. When I look at a project, my mind starts to run through all the design and decorating options that are possible, and I have discovered that clients appreciate my input and, more often than not, implement some of those ideas. I have also noticed that clients are more than happy to have me schedule in trades people, meet with them and discuss the details of the project. Often it is the case that the homeowner knows what they want, but have a difficult time communicating their ideas to these people, and they appreciate my help in these situations. I pride myself on consistent communication with my clients, keeping them informed and up to date during the process.
